I´ ve been using X-theme for a while now, and all of a sudden, trying to use the optimizer, it does not work. I only get a grey field on the left hand side of the screen. (See attached screen dump)

Please help. ITried to read the many answers to “customizer not working” – which only made me more confused. I believe I need someone to check my site. Thank you.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! First of all, check our troubleshooting guide here (https://community.theme.co/kb/solutions-to-potential-setup-issues-customizer/).

Also try locating the following line in your wp-config.php file which is under the root of your WordPress installation.

Locate the following line
define('WP_DEBUG', false);

Then change is as follows to enable debug information.
define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Once you save changes, try loading your Customizer and see if you’re getting any error messages.
