JoaoModeratorHi There,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thanks
Joao

jackbenimbleParticipantDeleted all the plugins. Still doesn’t work. Same problem.
Are you having the same problem?

RadModeratorHi there,
It’s because of the map. Try deleting that two sections where maps are, and add a new section and it will work.
There is a bug on google maps due to their new standard and implementation. Instead of just loading the map and render, map API now loads other javascript files which then cornerstone unable to capture and cause an error in the preview. We’re currently working on it, please stay tuned.
Thanks!

jackbenimbleParticipantSo we can’t have any Google maps on our sites right now? That doesn’t work for a local business site.. I have to to have a map.
How will we know when this is fixed?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! You can always have Google Maps in your site. You can have more than one maps on the pages. The only issue with the map at the moment is that you cannot have any map preview when you are in the Cornerstone editor live preview page. As soon as you view the live page, the map will display with no issue. This map issue is currently on going development. This will be updated soon.
Hope this explains it briefly.
October 15, 2016 at 3:29 am #1217138
jackbenimbleParticipantOk I can have Google maps, but I can’t use Cornerstone as long as I do have a google map on my site. So that doesn’t work if I need to use cornerstone to build and edit the site. I will have to take off the maps to build the site. Like you were saying before. So I can’t have the maps as long as this issue exists.

RadModeratorHi there,
Yes, you’ll have to remove the map as a temporary solution and add them back when you’re done editing the rest of the page. Or, you can create a dummy page and add maps there and save them as template block, then re-use it by inserting it to any page. That way, you don’t have to re-compose your map every edit you’ll make. That’s just temporary, though, the cornerstone being unusable due to the map is a rare issue, I have maps and no preview too because of that issue but I can still edit the page through cornerstone. We’ll make sure that we’ll check every aspect of that issue.
Thanks for understanding.
