mattheltzelParticipantHi all,
I’m getting a few errors from Cornerstone and I’m hoping you can point me in the right direction to fix them.
#1. Many of my images I’ve uploaded are stored on my server as http (not https) but my site has an EV SSL so I installed a plugin to have them called over https. That works fine, but it does give me a lot of console errors and I think it might be making the site load slower. I could be wrong, but wanted to get your input on that?
#2. More importantly, since I’ve installed and tried to use Contact Form 7, I’m not able to save changes in Cornerstone. It says the changes are being saved, but it’s not actually saving my changes.
Here’s the errors:
Image from origin ‘http://www.renaissancepassport.com’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘https://www.renaissancepassport.com’ is therefore not allowed access.
https://www.renaissancepassport.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist/css/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff?v=4.6.3 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
https://www.renaissancepassport.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist/css/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.ttf?v=4.6.3 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
https://www.renaissancepassport.com/wp-content/plugins/connects-mailchimp/js/mailchimp-script.js?ver=1.1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
Any help with this would be huge. I think all of those have to do with Contact Form 7, so I guess I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on there.

mattheltzelParticipantSide note this is all only happening when I’m in Cornerstone.

LelyModeratorHi There,
Please check the physical file on the errors via FTP. If it is existing on location, you might be having permission issue on those files. You may want to checkin with your hosting provider about it.
Regarding cross origin issue for the images, upload the images again over HTTP to remove those error.
2.) Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / passwordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

mattheltzelParticipantSorry do you mean I should just re-upload all the photos on my site and then that won’t happen any longer?
I will go check to see if those files exist.
Thanks!

Paul RModeratorHi,
The ftp login you provided does not have the right access to your site.
I can’t see your wordpress files, kindly make sure that login has access to your wordpress directory and files.
For the meatime, try adding the code below in your .htaccess file.
Header add Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" Header add Access-Control-Allow-Headers "origin, x-requested-with, content-type" Header add Access-Control-Allow-Methods "PUT, GET, POST, DELETE, OPTIONS" AddType application/font-woff2 .woff2Hope that helps.

mattheltzelParticipantIn regards to the font issues, I ended up getting that straightened out. I found them in a different location on my server and copied them to where my site was requesting them from. That sped up my site a good bit.
Is there any way possible to make the images on my server be secure? Currently they are HTTP and I have plugin redirecting them over HTTPS but I’d rather they be HTTPS to clean that up.
Also, since I’m not doing hosting with you guys because I want to keep my EV SSL and last I checked that’s not supported with Themeco hosting, would you recommend I use a caching plugin to speed things up a little bit? Load time is on average 6 seconds which isn’t horrible but I’d like to speed up anything I can if possible. Thanks in advance.

JadeModeratorHi there,
The best approach would be updating the links and the image links in your site to https. You can do this by using the Better Search and Replace plugin. You can simply search on http://domain.com then replace it with https://domain.com.
You may install a caching plugin after the development of your site is done. Please check this link on how to improve the performance of your site: https://community.theme.co/kb/performance/
Hope this helps.
