I am having trouble editing a text box with Visual Composer. When I click the edit button, the edit window pops up, but it sits there on the loading screen forever and won’t load the editor. This occurs in both the backend and frontend editor. When I deactivate Cornerstone, this issue is resolved and I am able to edit text. What is going on here and how can I edit my text boxes without having to disable Cornerstone every time?

Thanks for writing in! Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

Our latest versions are:
X Theme: 4.4.2
Cornerstone: 1.2.4
Visual Composer: 4.11.2

You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site. If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

We recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */

I am fully up to date on X Theme, Cornerstone and Visual Composer. I did just add the code that you have provided and it seems to be working now! Thanks for all of your help, hopefully this will be a permanent fix.
