    Hi guys,

    I have a question about cornerstone and general SEO – a client is asking, if Cornerstone would affect their current SEO, if the website was redesigned with Theme X and Cornerstone. The current website is a blog based site – https://travelcrestedbutte.com/ – so they are receiving the majority of their traffic from text posts.

    Also, the same concern rises about Essential Grid. If I was to use the grid to make convert the restaurant listings into a grid from this page: https://travelcrestedbutte.com/crested-butte-dining/, would that affect the SEO since the text will be in a grid now?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! If the contents are same then i won’t affect the SEO. I’d suggest to use a SEO plugin like “YOAST by SEO” to control the excerpts and other settings properly.

    Thank you for the information! What about the Essential Grid plugin – if I was to use the grid to convert the restaurant listings into a grid from this page: https://travelcrestedbutte.com/crested-butte-dining/, would that affect the CURRENT SEO rating since the text will be in a grid now?

    Hi there,

    It shouldn’t be affected. Unless you’ll add scheme or snippets on the content which search engine will expect something.
