Hi there we have a few problems with convertplug:

1. We made a modal popup which should appear only on specific pages of our website while we are using it as a welcome gate/age verifier. Reason we want to use it is due to alcohol content. We set (woocommerce)pages palimeovocie.sk/obchod and palimeovocie.sk/kosik but it doesn’t work on any of them.

2. Is there an option to set a popup that after clicking on closing link (cross in the corner) it will send the user automatically to the home page. Mechanism should be like if you are over 18 you press the button and you are allowed to visit the shop, if not you click the cross and it will send you back.

Thanks for writing in! I think that’s not the purpose of ConvertPlug. You can try a plugin like this – https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=age+verification

Hi there I ‘ ve tried nearly each from your link but they are not free or not working as I mentioned above. If there is a way how to create some kind of simple age lock via X addons, please help.

Maybe we can use convertplug only with one button age confirmation but still there’ s a problem that it doesn’t work under woocommerce pages.

Hello Michael,

Unfortunately, as previously stated Convertplug is not designed for that and X theme also doesn’t have available addons or functions for age verification. Adding those function is possible via customization which is outside the scope of our support. really appreciate your help we found right plugin for us but anyway is there a way how to add modal popup for above mentioned sites without any verification just for a subscribers or something. We set all the things in options but it doesn”t work.

Hello Michael,

What is the supposed content of the modal then? If you want just a modal with some text or buttons you can use Convertplug Modal now. When you say it is not working, are you referring ton Convertplug? If yes, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– modal with issue

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Hi there don’t know where is the problem but we tried it on 4 pcs and popup didn’t appear on either of them.

Would you mind providing a screenshot of what you’re getting? Attached is the screenshot what I’m getting.

It’s the same when editing the modal popup in admin.

Have you tried clearing the cookies and cache on those PCs?

Hi there,
we cleared cookies and cache on each computer. Sometimes we have same screenshot as you on palimeovocie.sk/kosik but never on palimeovocie.sk/obchod so I don’t have anything to provide. It is a page without any popup. I don’t want to disturb you if there is no solution. No worries we will try another plugin.
