Hi guys,

I am testing a constant contact add on with convert plug. I just noticed this update, but it will not let me update without a registered product. I know convert plug via X does not need a license, as the updates are bundled with X. Will this Connects update be included in the next X update or do I need to purchase a license?

Thanks for writing in! ConvertPlug is a bundled plugin in X. It is provided free and all future updates. Regretfully if you want to use other addons which is another separate addon plugins for ConvertPlug, you’ll need to buy a separate license for that. What we have bundled in X is just a basic plugin. Any feature beyond and needs purchase validations will require you to buy a separate license of ConvertPlug. The separate license is very useful if you want to unlock the plugin’s potential and integration with other plugins such as Connects – Constant Contact Mailer. That explains it and confirms my suspicion. My own two cents: I think your approach is 100% reasonable, and I am glad I have the option to use the plugin for free, to make an educated decision to purchase, should I desire expanded features. In other words, there is no need for regrets! I have none.
