Is there a way to get a notification via email some how every time someone submits an email? Either via a script, or addon?

There are ways that you can integrate ConvertPlug forms with other services so that you can receive notifications. Please check out the documentation here;

https://www.convertplug.com/integrations/ConvertPlug merely displays the modal popup and info bar. It relies on the 3rd party services to carry out any other features being displayed. Regretfully there is no standalone or any other way around.

I did check your slide in and it is working. See attached screenshot. It is set to show after the user scroll. Please try clearing browser cache if you can’t see the slide in.
