DoebankDesignsParticipantI created a Convert Plug modal and info bar, and they were working fine yesterday. For some reason they are no longer appearing on mobile devices. I have them set to appear immediately, display on all pages, no cookies enabled, show to all visitors, etc. I’ve tried on multiple devices/browsers. Works fine on desktop, just not mobile. What am I doing wrong?
Wordpress, theme, plugins, all up to date. I’m using a child theme.
Thanks

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
I have checked your modal popup and it turns out that you have set the Cookies to On. Once you view the popup, you will no longer see it again.

Please open a private browsing mode in your mobile phone or use mobile Chrome’s incognito mode and test again your site. Or perhaps, you can turn off the Cookies and test again your site.
Please let us know how it goes.

DoebankDesignsParticipantI was already testing it in a private window. Plus, cookies are NOT enabled for the info bar that should be at the bottom of the page. So it should be showing all the time.

RadModeratorHi there,
It works on my mobile, it’s because I’m a first-time visitors. Would you mind toggling that option off? It should be under Target Visitors section.
I can’t reproduce your issue as it displays on my mobile.
Thanks!

DoebankDesignsParticipantThat doesn’t make any sense. I want it to display to first time visitors. I want it to display to all visitors. I’ve flushed the cache server side and on my devices, and it’s still not showing on mobile devices. It’s not just my devices. I’ve asked other people to check, and they’re not seeing it either. Neither the info bar nor the popup are showing on mobile.

DoebankDesignsParticipantHey, Rad. Still not working. A couple of things here:
1. The option to show to first time users is not worded well apparently. If it means show ONLY to first time users, then it should say, “Show ONLY to First Time Users.” The option makes it seem that if I want first time users to see it at all, I should have that option checked. It’s just confusing and not worded well.
2. I only checked the hide on certain devices options because I was trying a new method–displaying it manually. I unchecked those options.
Like I said, even following your advice, neither the info bar nor the popup are showing on the iPads and iPhones I’ve used to check it. I’ve followed your instructions, and I’ve even tried lots of other combinations of options, but nothing seems to work.
I have the bar displaying manually right now, but that’s not what I wanted, and the popup isn’t displaying at all.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Hi There Upon Checking your website I notice that Convertplug is on my end – Android Chrome – preventing the user of scrolling down on mobile devices. I am not sure that it is hapenning because you forced the info bar to appear…
Would you mind telling us what steps you took to do that?
At this point I believe would be the best to undo the forcing of the pop up bar, and try deleting and re-installing ConvertPlug for test purposes.
I have ConvertPlug on few of my websites and it works just fine on touch devices and mobile.
If you cant afford to have this pop bar off during the troubleshooting period, I would reccomend you cloning your website so we can do that and run more tests
Let us know your toughts.
Thanks
Joao

DoebankDesignsParticipantThanks, Joao. I’ve had nothing but trouble with ConvertPlug on every site I’ve tried to use it on. Must be me! I deleted the info bar and just created my own version on each page. It was taking more time trying to get ConvertPlug to work correctly than to just create a bar myself.
Thanks anyway.

inbonkimParticipantHi I’m also having the same problem on my site
It is set to show on all pages, cache also not enables and enabled to show on all devices. It was fine a last week but it’s not working on mobile devices. Particularly on apple devices. Tried it on chrome mobile incognito, safari and firefox but to no avail.
