Thanks for writing in! Contact Form 7 is not an official extension of X|Theme, however it is a recommended plugin.

What has this to do with the ConvertPlug extension? Hubspot for instance is also not an official extension of X theme, yet I can use it with ConvertPlug. Why do I have to purchase a license for this? Makes no sense..

Hi There,

You can use your contact form anyway with ConvertPlug, the extension is actually unecessary 🙂

Copy Contact Form Shortcode on the Custom Form field of your ConvertPlug.

Note the form won´t render on the convert plug editor, but will render once it is live on your site.

You can find your shortcode as soon as you open your list on contact form, copy it and paste on Convertplug.

Thanks! While I get the form into the modal, upon submit it keeps on loading and never sends the request..

It is launched under the second blue button on the page. It has the title ‘bel mij terug’.

I have tested it on Chrome and Safari, same problem. Also after clearing cache (iPhone 6s). Als when tapping on a field there is a bug.
