ADBLParticipantHi —
I’m looking for a way to control what image and text snippet is being used by Linkedin when I add the url to a post. Right now it looks random, like something really down the home page. Anything I can do? TIA.

ADBLParticipantI found this post: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/linkedin-image-pull/ but I don’t think I can find SEO > Social > Facebook > Default Settings in X, right?
I enabled Open Graph, but is there somewhere I can customize it?
Thanks.

ADBLParticipantI’d like to control what image and text snippet is being used when a user pastes the site’s address within a Linkedin (in this case) post. Right now, it’s picking an image and a bit of text that feels random, down the page. Ideally that’d be a setting option.

ADBLParticipantIOW, when you paste a link within a Linkedin post, there is a rich preview, with a thumbnail, and some text snippet; this is what I’m referring to.

ADBLParticipantI enabled Open Graph, and now it shows something less random (like the first image it finds and the page title, like “HOME”), that’s better, but is there a way I can control more precisely what’s being displayed in the preview (upon pasting the site url into a Linkedin post). Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
You can try installing any SEO plugin that has Opengraph features (X Opengraph should be disabled). X’s Opengraph is just a basic one, any advance implementation should be handled by any SEO plugin or custom coding.
Thanks!
