I’m building out staging.vosinsurance.com using your theme and I’m trying to make the side bar narrower within the site, but every time I change the “Content Width%” from 72 to 74, the navigation menu becomes super tiny and unreadable. I’m not sure how they’re tied together, but I’ve attached a “before” and “after” .jpg for your convenience. It doesn’t happen when I change the Max Site width, or the Site Width.

That — and how do I make the sidebar width even smaller than 26% of the entire page width? Can’t figure that one out.

Please advise whenever you all get to me…

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Certainly they are tied together since the sidebar will take the rest of the are you select for the main content. It looks squeezed because the Customizer panel is taking some width as well; let’s check on front-end. If you still think it’s not usual then you can provide your login credentials in ap rivate reply so that we can check from our end.

    Cheers!

    Hello There,

I did check and I can see the issue that when you adjust Content width the font size of menu because smaller and all other text properties are missing too. Although it doesn’t affect the frontend because your Content Width is now 74%. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
