    Have the Content Box Add-On, can pull recent-posts, etc shortcode per documentation.

    But I need to pull from Events (Modern Tribe). Specifically I need to pull a specific event.

    Can this be done?

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! Yes it may be possible. Once the Content Dock is activated, please go to Appearance > Widgets. Find the Content Dock widget area and insert a Text widget. Inside the text widget, please add the recent post shortcode like this:

    
[recent_posts type="tribe_event" count="1"]

    Inside your Content Dock widget area, you can even insert another text widget and add the tribe events default shortcodes which you can find it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
