robinweber1989ParticipantHi Theme X,
I have a question regarding the content-band that I would like to use on my homepage. My url is: http://rondreis-planner.nl.
How can I get the surfer background img fullwidth, just like the demo images and for example my slider?
Thank you in advance.

robinweber1989ParticipantPs. The current view on mobile is also not responsive. Could you perhaps help me with this as well?

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! Currently that surfer image is set as a background. If you need that image to be emphasize on desktop and mobile. You should add that as an image element. Then turn off that section’s ROW column container option.
I advice you optimise that image, it is too big (3.9 MB) and takes time to load.
Hope it helps, Cheers!

ChristianModeratorThat is because you have fixed with
width: 2000px; height: 400px. Please remove that. Also, using layout shortcodes inside Cornerstone is not recommended. Please use Cornerstone layout and elements. For more details on Cornerstone usage, please see our Knowledge Base
Thanks.

robinweber1989ParticipantHi Support,
I’ve removed the fixed with and height. Still the content band does not show properly on mobile. Do you have instructions on how to create the demo content band examples without using shortcodes in Cornerstone?
Thank you in advance.

ChristianModeratorFor Cornerstone usage instructions, please see our Knowledge Base.
Or, install the demo you like and then go to the Cornerstone editor of the page to see the setup. To install demo content, please see https://community.theme.co/kb/demo-content/
Thanks.

robinweber1989ParticipantHi Support,
I’ve read the cornerstone instructions already and I do not want to overwrite my complete Customizer settings with demo content. I simply want to know how to properly use the content band in cornerstone, like in the demos. Could you please give me some guidance with this, since the shortcodes are not right to use in cornerstone, as you said.Cheers

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
To make sections like demos you only need to use Blank – No Container | Header, Footer page template for full width sections. You can then adjust the spacing in section’s settings in Cornerstone.
Hope this helps!
