    Good morning,

    I have used contact form 7 from the moment my new site went up with success. The site has been up a couple of months.

    Then about a week ago was informed that the forms no longer worked.

    I have checked and the site has the latest of Contact Form 7 and X theme / cornerstone. There is no unusual / old plugins.

    The error message is when the user has filled in the form correctly and hit send – i.e – Sender’s message failed to send.

    I spoke to the hosting company and after tests they have concluded:

    ‘there is no issue on our server end also the error is coming up when submitting the contact form this is usually because of the scripting issue’

    Could I have some assistance please! Thank you!

    Hi there,

    Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    If it doesn’t help, Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hey Jason,

    So we’ll know if this is an issue with X, would you mind switching to the default 2015 theme and check if your contact form works? If the issue persists, please contact Contact Form 7’s support. If it works, let us know.

    Very good idea – I have tried it with the default theme and it still does not work – I will contact them.

    In the mean time would you recommend and other contact forms?

    Well, Gravityforms works the best and it should work with X theme.. however, we’ve not tested it extensively with the X theme.
