markusp80ParticipantHi!
I just realized today, because a client told me in a direct email, that my contact form does not work properly. This is a DISASTER and I don’t know how many potential clients I’ve lost because of this.
I have always used Contact form 7 on my contact page. A big problem here is that hte contact form seems to be working for the user. A thank you-message is shown and no error messages, but the email never reaches me.
I looked at some old forum threads regarding CF7, and I downgraded to version 4.1.2 but it still does not work. I created a new page, edited in Cornerstone and added a newly created contect form, still not working.
What is the solution for creating a contact form in X/Cornerstone? You must have a solution for this, right?? It does not matter how it’s done, just tell me how to do it because I really, really need to have a working contact form on my website!

JadeModeratorHi Markus,
Thanks for writing in! If you don’t receive the notification email, most probably it could be due to a hosting related issue. Depending on spam or whitelist settings on your mail servers, this could prevent you from receiving the emails. You can try using another email provider’s email account to see if you get the email notification (Eg: Gmail) and also check your SPAM folder in your email account.
Also you can setup a SMTP server to send your emails which you can do that using these plugins:
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/Here are some troubleshooting guidance that you can follow (http://contactform7.com/setting-up-mail/).
Hope that helps.
