    Hi X,

    I’ve just installed X-theme (and child theme) to my site (URL below). I’ve used X-theme plenty before and haven never encountered any issues. Here’s an example of my issue…

    Dashboard > visit site (arrive at homepage) > customise > BLANK WHITE PAGE

    OR

    Appearance > themes > customise child theme > BLANK WHITE PAGE

    I’m completely unable to customise or edit. I’ve tried numerous re-installs. I’m not confident my product validated correctly, however, I have no option to rectify that. Perhaps you can confirm? I’ve also deactivated all third party plug ins.

    Using 4.6.2.

    Hi there,

    Upon investigating your issue, it seems that your child theme causing this issue. I have switched to back to your parent theme and I was able to install Plugins/ X Extensions.

    Please check our child theme setup guide here (https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-child-themes/) or you will need to investigate any custom code added to your child theme.

    Hi

    Even with the child theme deactivated I am completely unable to customise any page, just gives me the blank white page.

    I haven’t made an custom code changes.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Laurence,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – FTP Host
    – FTP Port
    – FTP Username
    – FTP Password

    Hi there,

    Your PHP version is too old ( v5.2.17 ), WordPress now recommends the v5.6 and X theme too. Please contact your hosting provider and request an upgrade for PHP, should be 5.6 or greater, but not the PHP7.

    Then we’ll continue checking once we narrowed all possible causes.
