aleminopuyParticipantHello?
My site has multiple people contributing to it, but I don’t want to have to create new users for all the different authors. I installed the Co-Authors Plus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/co-authors-plus) but am having some issues getting the correct author to display. I read some other posts on here about the plugin, but they didn’t seem to be looking for the same function I am.
I would like to be able to add the about the author shortcode to a post and have it pull in the author info from the listed Co-Author (if there is one), otherwise it would pull the info from the user who created the post as the author (like it usually does).

LelyModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. We do provide basic customization to existing functions and design but then this would need a little more than that because we need to dig in into the third party plugin. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

aleminopuyParticipantThat’s fair. Is there any way you know of to create authors without creating new accounts for them that works with X theme?
Thanks!

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Not that I could recommend, I could suggest you asking the very same question on our Facebook Group X Theme Users that count with more than 10.000 users.
Hope that helps
Joao
