    Hello There,

Thanks for providing the information. Regretfully the given FTP access code is not working for us. You also forgot to give the username for the WordPress dashboard. Please double check it. Meanwhile, please check out the demo content troubleshooting issue from our knowledge base here: https://community.theme.co/kb/demo-content/

Please let us know how it goes.

    Hi there,

It’s the common issue in Godaddy due to restriction with cache and transients. There are other similar threads which I think not resolved yet and that’s something we don’t have control.

But what other users did is set up their site in their local (computer) and imported the demo, then migrated it to Godaddy.

I checked it and confirmed the error is “Invalid demo name.”.

Please check this related thread https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/demo-content-47/#post-1329637

    Thanks.

I had GoDaddy look at all of this. They modified all the PHP settings, etc. They are saying it is a problem with the server on Themeco’s side. After it connects then the sever is not feeding the data. Please check this out for me it should work with GoDaddy.

If it won’t work with GoDaddy then please give me the names of some other hosting provider to use. Then I will sign up with them and buy another copy of X and start all over.

    Thanks,
    Pat

Please read the above post. Another idea…how much would Themeco charge to set up this demo up for me? One of the post’s from Rad mentioned an alternative method setting it up.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Pat

This would be setting up on my existing GoDaddy site. You have all the log in information.

    Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! I have tried several time installing the Church Demo Content manually. I wasn’t able to do it because every time I import the demo content, an error will occur. Please check this out: http://prntscr.com/dw6xa6

I guess the issue is with your hosting. You can try it for yourself. I will be attaching the Church demo content file.

    Thank you.

    The file attached:

    - Church demo contents xml file
    - Church customizer's XCS file
    - Church Slider zip file

I will contact GoDaddy. I tried the 400KB xml file and received the same internal server error message as you did.

    For the files you sent.
There are two xml files – one is 1KB and the other 400KB. Do both of these need to be imported?

There are two xcs.json files one is 1KB and the other is 12KB. Do both of these need to be imported? Do I need to remove the .json in the file name so that import will recognize them?

    Thanks,
    Pat

GoDaddy could not figure out any way to get the import to work. So I will need to change hosting providers for this web site. I need your recommendations on a hosting provider to change to that will support X and the expanded Church demo.

Please let me know some hosting providers that will work.

Doing a quick google search I am finding these: (sorry the copy and paste does not line up)
Name Account Type Cost Per Month
Inmotion Hosting Inmotion Hosting Power Plan $2.95
    Siteground SiteGround Startup $3.95
    A2 Hosting Logo A2 Hosting Lite $3.92
    Bluehost Bluehost Standard Shared $2.95
    green-geeks-logo GreenGeeks Standard $3.96
    Site5 Site5 HostPro $8.95
Media Temple MediaTemple Grid Server $20.00
    Dreamhost DreamHost Standard Shared $7.95
    Eleven2 Eleven2 S-200 $8.00
Arvixe Hosting Arvixe Hosting Personal Class $4.00
    Hostgator HostGator* Hatchling $7.16
    GoDaddy GoDaddy Deluxe $8.99

Please let me know. I will then get a new hosting account, a new copy of X and try again.

    Thanks,
    Pat
