    Hi

    I have a question regarding the child theme. I have an old page and I want to implant the information I have (including pages) to my new X Theme. I bought the X Theme yesterday. I never used it before, so I guess I have the latest version of everything. I want to install a child theme. I’m really new at this but I followed your guides step by step. In the Appearance folder it says that the child theme is ”active” but when I push the customize button or see the site in live view, its nothing from my old page there. I can see it in my ”parent folder” with the same theme but not in my child theme. I might be of the blue but can you please explain to me step by step what I’m doing wrong?

    Hi there,

    Setting up new theme or child theme won’t alter wordpress content, such as posts, pages, menu items and…
    I’m not sure if the page you’re referring to is a wordpress page or not? Please give us more information about it and if it’s possible install x in a staging site so we can compare both URLs.
