Can any one tel me what is the right moment to create a child theme.
In order to after finishing the work on the website including activating google analytics or other addons
or before building and styling everything, is it the first thing you do?

It’s recommended to install and activate child theme before customizing your theme but it doesn’t mean that you can’t activate it in the middle of your work. Please export customizer settings under X addons page and import it after activating child theme.

Thanks for the quick replay, bud i was already started whit customizing the child theme can i still export it from the x theme and import it in the child theme or is it to late?
Also my revolution slider and the layer slider is also not working is this the consequences from not exporting and importing the customizer settings under x addons?

Little confuse of the problem. To clarify this, would you mind sharing us your admin credentials and FTP so we could check your setup closer.
In regards to child theme, you could install child theme anytime and customizer does not affect your child or your child theme does not affect your customizer.

Ok i did not understand how it works tanks for testing i will lookup for some how to build slider tutorials.
Other question do i still have to export and import customizer settings as is post #1340170 from christopherKind regards

It’s better to keep a backup your Customizer settings so that you can restore it whenever you needed.
