    Hello I am getting the following message when I tried installing the Child theme. I think I followed the instructions to the book but the child theme is nowhere to be found. TIA.

    “Installing Theme from uploaded file: x-child.zip
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the theme…
    This theme requires a parent theme. Checking if it is installed…
    The parent theme could not be found. You will need to install the parent theme, x, before you can use this child theme.
    Theme installed successfully.”

    Is it okay already? because of the theme installed successfully.

    If still not working, please install first the parent theme or the X theme before installing your child theme.

    Hello. Nope its still not working. I cant activate the theme since its saying X-theme is not installed.

    Hello There,

    In that case would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi There,

    I have renamed your theme from : the-x-theme to x

    That is the correct theme folder, now everything should work, I already activated your child theme,
