    This is the second website/time that our functions.php file in our child theme has been hacked. Is there some type of vulnerability we should be aware of?

    Hi there,

    There no known and reported vulnerability of the functions.php file in X.

    X follows the up to date WordPress coding standards and is free for vulnerability.

    Kindly reset your passwords and your file permission.

    It would also help if you can check with your hosting provider about this.
