isdg01ParticipantNew problem…. Still playing with the last piece of code supplied above, but I can no longer get my Customizer to Save & Publish the settings. I have reviewed your doc, https://community.theme.co/kb/solutions-to-potential-setup-issues-customizer/, and have adjusted my wp-config.php and .htaccess settings. I have also turned off every single plugins (except Cornerstone) with no luck.
What else might cause this? I see the site calling the server for other functions, but for saving the Customizer settings it does not seem to be hitting the server…
Thanks,

LelyModeratorHi Dawn,
I am getting this error when I check:
x-customizer-preview.min.js?ver=4.6.4:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot convert undefined or null to object at x-customizer-preview.min.js?ver=4.6.4:1 at x-customizer-preview.min.js?ver=4.6.4:1I can see that you have caching plugin. Did you clear cache before deactivating this plugin and all other plugins? Try to activate the caching plugins and then clear cache. Do let us know how this goes.

isdg01ParticipantYes, purging cache was the first thing I did… I have turned the Caching plugin back on, cleared all caches, and turned it back off. Customizer is still not letting me save anything this morning. And my dropdown menus are still not legible after first click…

isdg01ParticipantI have just deleted the Caching plugin completely and Customizer still is not saving…

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for the clarification, please add this on your custom CSS.
.x-navbar .desktop .sub-menu .current-menu-item > a { color: #500000; background-color: #998542; }Cheers!

isdg01ParticipantI can’t add anything to my custom CSS right now because Customizer will not save anything…. let’s figure that one out and I will gladly add the new code for the drop down menus. I can save edits done in Cornerstone and everywhere else in the site, but not from the Customizer… it started doing this yesterday.

FriechModeratorHi There,
Yeah sure, please create a new thread regarding that Customizer not saving issue. Actually I just encountered that issue on different site, and the culprit is a plugin named Wordfence Security. If you have that plugin please try to deactivate it and save your customizer.
You can also testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thanks.

isdg01ParticipantI have already turned off all plugins, deleted a caching plugin completely, and it still will not save. I will open a new thread for this one. I kept it here because it was all on the same site as this whole string has covered, including credentials supplied.
