drmodihoParticipantHello,
I am wondering how to be able to change the preset link address of the title and image of posts on the blog page as well as on posts added by the shortcode to a custom link address?
Right now the links are directing to the single blog post pages. I like to direct them to other custom pages.
Thanks in advance,
best regards,
Moritz

drmodihoParticipantHey,
I like to direct them to other pages than the blog post pages. For example http://medibroad.com/destinations. But I like to be able to set different custom links for each post. I dont want them all to direct to the same page.
The reason I want to do that is, that I dont need to display each post again in a single extra post page, because all of the information to the post is already displayed on my blog index page. I rather like to direct them to the specific location where people can read more about the whole topic, which is displayed on different locations like “destinations” or “programs”, ect.
Hope it is more clear now what I like to do?
Thanks again for any help.
Best regards,
Moritz

ChristopherModeratorHey there,
The posts links should redirect to their individual blog posts not custom links. In this case I recommend you to not use default blog post and instead create static page with shortcodes to be able to link text and image to custom links. Regretfully what you’re are trying to achieve isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding. Take care!

drmodihoParticipantHey Christopher,
I thought about that too, just to use recent post shortcodes. However the post layout is very limited then. It only displays picture, tile and date. Is there a way to display the posts as they are displayed in the default blog post by using shortcodes?
Thanks in advance for your help,
best regards,
Moritz

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. Do you want to display excerpt as well? In that case you can follow this – https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/recent-posts-excerpts/#post-307559
Cheers!
