Hi there,

my 404-page looks horrific, I really would like to change it. And the language too. Over here nobody would know what a “bummer” is 🙂
How would I achieve this?

Appreciating any help,
Karen

well… here I am again 😉
I’m trying to create a new 404 page. What I did was using a content band, and added Background image with text. Unfortunately just a little part of the image is shown. It should be full width, just the image with text.

What could I do? I tried some margin and padding, but that didn’t make things better. I have set the page to “no container/no header / no footer”
And what would I have to do change font size? Visual Editor is kind of complicated when you’re used to Cornerstone 🙁

This is my code:
[content_band style=”color: #fff;” bg_image=”https://www.my-site-my-picture.jpg” parallax=”true” border=”all” inner_container=”true” background-size: contain !important; background-attachment: initial !important; padding-top: 18.5%; padding-bottom: 18.5%;] [custom_headline style=”margin-top: 10; color: #fff;” level=”h1″ looks_like=”h2″]Fehler 404[/custom_headline]
Die gesuchte Seite existiert nicht oder ist einfach ins Internet weggeschwebt.

[/content_band]

Any help would be great, thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen,

First of all I would not reccomend you using No Header No Footer, that makes things much more difficult for the client to go back to the part of the page they were looking for.

Also please provide your wp admin credentials so we can take a look on your setup.

Thanks

Joao

Hi there,

You’re using boxed layout and you could have full width content inside the container. You can try changing site layout under Customize -> Layout and design.

Thanks.
