Jeremy PParticipantA couple of my category pages load real slow. Do you know why this would be? They’re much slower than the rest of the site, and sometimes they don’t load at all.
eg: http://smartnutrition.ca/category/overeating/

Jeremy PParticipantI should have been more clear. These pages generally do not load at all. The loading symbol just continues into eternity. I’ve gone over performance issues with the site, this is a separate issue, as the category pages respond much differently than other pages on the site.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! I have tested your site in Chrome and issues encountered. One thing I noticed though, Since you have installed a caching plugin W3 Fastest Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Hope this helps.

Jeremy PParticipantWell I had finished this site and then this issue started happening. So you saw it in Chrome as well? I have disabled the caching plugin but the issue remains. I also switched themes and the issue went away. I deactivated all plugins and the issue did not go away.

LelyModeratorHello Jeremy,
It is loading fine when I checked:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDjvi0jVSS. I am using Chrome on Windows 10.
Can you Inspect element and see if there’s any console error?September 16, 2016 at 2:51 am #1177864
Jeremy PParticipantIt works fine on Chrome for me too. Just not Safari.
I get these:
[Warning] Unexpected CSS token: : (settings.css, line 3)
[Warning] Invalid CSS property declaration at: / (nutrition-2, line 164)
SyntaxError: Unexpected EOF
