SabaconParticipantI recently changed my category base name in the permalinks section of the settings menu as well as my category name. I thought I was clarifying. During this time, I also updated the X theme. I’m not sure if any of these cause my problem or not. I am just presenting what I think could cause it. Anyway, the RSS feed for that category has “Category name – Site name” appended to my post titles. For example, I am using mailchimp to create an email marketing campaign. When mailchimp grabs a post, the post name now has “Category name – Site name” appended to end of it. If I view a RSS feed post in Google, same result.
My RSS Feed use to supply just the post title. I’m not sure what I did to change that, but I would like just the post title to display, as in the past. Does the X theme have anything to do with this? Please forgive my ignorance if the theme has nothing to do with this.
Thank you

RupokMemberHi Gerald,
X Theme doesn’t control your RSS as it’s a core feature of WordPress. However we can have a look for you. Would you provide your URL?
Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
Are you referring this? – http://prntscr.com/dfw6ub
It’s not post title rather the feed page title which is absolutely fine. Would you clarify what’s your issue? Your feed is working as expected as I can see.
Thanks!

SabaconParticipantYes. What I’m speaking of is in your picture the post title has “-Customer-Sabacon Consulting” appended to each post title. For example Four Building of Busines is post title. Now it is appended with “-Customer-Sabacon Consulting” In the picture I uploaded, the post title is appended with “-Sabacon Ideas-Sabacon-Consulting” because I was looking at the category feed. It used to be the post title would be displayed only i.e. “Business M&M’s; It’s Not Candy” without the “-Customer-Sabacon Consulting” appended to back.

LelyModeratorHi Gerald,
Thank you for the credentials.
This might be coming from your plugins.
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. Do let us know how this goes. -
