catunderwoodParticipantHello,
I have a client who needs a fairly extensive catalogue website. This is essentially an ecommerce site, but without the ability to actually buy the products (which is done offline).I was looking at using X again with a Woocommerce plug in minus the basket, but I’m not 100% it can do what I need:
– Clear categories for his product ranges
– Each range has a hero product then related products within the same range
– Some products have different size/material options, which affect the price
– He wants a PDF technical spec. download per product
– Some have related videos
– He NEEDS a good search function that works based on product codeI’m sorry if this is not really what the forum is for, but thoguht it was worth an ask as I’d like to use X if I can but need to be sure it will support what my client needs.
Many thanks in advance.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Basically most of the above mentioned functionalities are related WooCommerce it self and you can integrate WooCommerce with our theme.
Also you can use additional plugins for example (https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-woo-search/), (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-extended-search/).
Some custom development knowledge also may require when implementing custom functionality and also there are paid plugins that you can utilize (https://woocommerce.com/products/product-documents/).
Hope that helps.
