    Dear X,

I’m trying to work on a local host http://localhost:8888/comtarekdevcorner/ and I need to update the X theme.

When I verify the theme on this link: https://community.theme.co/wp/wp-login.php?action=register I get the following message:

(This purchase code has already been registered. You may have an additional account. If you’re unable to locate it, contact us with your purchase code and we can take a look for you.)

I had the same theme on ecowebhosting service as a learning environment, but the theme is not activated there any more and I want only to use it on my local host and update automatically.

Could you please support me to start working quickly.

    Thanks,
    Tarek

    Hi Tarek,

If you have used it on another site, make sure to revoke that first. You can remove the domain from Themeco license and assign your localhost site.

To validate your local server, you need to create a virtual domain name using virtual host because http://localhost:8888/comtarekdevcorner/ might not work.

If you’re using OS X server, you can setup a unique domain name (your-domain.dev) using MAMP virtual host and then you can use it to validate your product while you’re developing on your local server. Please refer to this article on how to setup a domain on MAMP (http://blainsmith.com/articles/quick-and-dirty-local-domain-names-for-mamp/).

If you’re using something like XAMPP, you can find an article explaining everything in detail here (http://sawmac.com/xampp/virtualhosts/)

Please refer to our product validation guide here at this URL (https://theme.co/x/member/kb/product-validation/).

    Hope that helps.

Thanks … I just solved this by un-installing the theme and installing it again.
