    I’ve just launched a new site – moved it from the development server to the live server – and I’ve got a ‘Your license of X is not validated’ message.

    I’ve reassigned the license to the live url in my Themeco account, but when I try and enter the purchase code in the WP admin (X Addons), nothing happens when I click enter.

    I can’t update some of the plugins until I can validate my license, so it’s pretty important that I get this sorted.

    This is the first time this has happened – and I’ve used X quite a few times before.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! You should be able to update Cornerstone and the other plugins if you have X license validated.

    Please do the following:
    1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
    2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
    3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
    4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

    If still doesn’t work, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – Purchase Code
    – Confirm your URL is well assigned at https://community.theme.co/my-account/

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi there,

    You’re currently using an older version of X (v4.5.2) theme and Cornerstone (v1.2.4). As we have revised validation process recently, you need to have the latest versions of X theme & Corerstone in order to function the validation process correctly. Please check the latest version numbers here (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/).

    You can update your X theme & Cornerstone plugin manually for once and then validate your product (https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/).

    Thanks – but I can’t update X Theme or Cornerstone – I’m getting an Update Package not available error each time.

    Without validating the theme installation I can’t update… without updating I can’t validate!

    Any idea what’s going on? I’m running quite a few installations of X Theme and this is the first time I’ve had this problem.

    You should already have the login credentials, if you need them.

    Thanks for writing back!

    You’re getting this error because, the downloaded X-theme file might get corrupted!

    Would you mind downloading X-theme from the ThemeCo Dashboard and re-installing it back again?

    You can manually install it from the following link :

    https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/
