    Hi,

I can’t validate Theme X licence. I get the message:
Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.

Details button shows an empty pop-up.

I followed the step from https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
The URL matches the exact URL in Theme X licenses and WordPress backend.

    Hey Dylan,

Please give us the purchase code in a private reply so we could check if there’s an issue with your account.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Your issue is that you’re using an older version of X theme (v4.5.2) and Cornerstone plugin (v1.2.0). To function validation process correctly, you will need to update first. You can check the latest version numbers from the following link (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/).

Please refer to our update guide here (https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/).

    Hope that helps.

    Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! You should be able to update Cornerstone if you have X license validated.

    Please do the following:

1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

Let us know how it goes,

    Joao

No effect. The time I put into this is getting a bit long.

    Hello Dylan,

Sorry if it still doesn’t work out. I think this has something to do with your hosting provider. Could please contact your webhost? Here is a form letter you may use:

    Hello [provider],

My WordPress installation is having a hard time making outbound HTTP requests. I’m using X theme and it makes a request to community.theme.co for setting up automatic updates. Here is the error message I’m receiving:

[screenshot, or copy/paste the verbose error message (see above regarding the &x-verbose flag)]

Could you please do the following?

    – Ensure my site can reach this domain: community.theme.co
    – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled.
    – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.
    – Check into the error message above.

Please advise on anything you discover. Thank you.

Please let us know how it goes.
