    Hi

I’ve been trying to create an RSS driven campaign in mailchimp but I can’t have my rss feed url validated. Any thought what this might be please?

    Thanks

    Hey there,

Can you give us more details on what part of X you’re having trouble with? If you have an issue with MailChimp though, you need to contact their support.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. Whenever I write my rss feed url as http://www.mysite.com/feed, mailchimp’s campaign returns an error that the feed url is invalid. I’ve already set my permalink structure to custom (%category%/%postname%) but it still can’t validate the feed url.

    Thanks

Looks like you don’t have the beginning and ending slashes like this /%category%/%postname%/? Also try /%postname%/ only.

    Thanks.

Thanks. I do have the slashes already and tried /%postname%/ only, then cleared the permalinks but that doesn’t work. So I tried all sort of things in https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Feeds, nothing worked.

    Any suggestions please?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Would you mind providing a screenshot of the error? And please provide the exact URL of RSS feed.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Yes, it’s invalid. The feed is displaying the HTML code of your home page which is the Coming Soon page. Please try disabling it and try it again.

    Thanks.

Problem solved. Although I deactivated the plugin and cleared the caches before and it didn’t work, it worked this time.

    Thanks Rad and Christian.

    Glad you’ve sorted it out.
