ChristyleighParticipantHi, I’m trying to validate my X license on wordpress, but I keep getting this message:
Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.
I know my purchase code is valid, and I assigned the development URL to the license, but it still won’t validate.
Help!!

RubinKeymasterHey There,
It’s not possible to validate IP addresses. Assign a domain to the IP and you will be able to validate your environment just fine.

ChristyleighParticipantHi Rubin, I am still not able to validate my license. I have assigned my domain to my purchase key, but it still won’t validate on the WP production environment. Help!

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Please download the latest version of X theme and also delete the current version of Cornerstone plugin, then install the latest version of it (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/). Then our validation process should function correctly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!November 22, 2016 at 8:25 am #1266831
ChristyleighParticipantHow do I uninstall my current X Theme? It won’t let me replace the version I have with the new version.

JoaoModeratorHI There,
1. Revoke your License from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.
https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/
2. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.
3. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)
4. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.
5. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!November 28, 2016 at 10:05 am #1273324
ChristyleighParticipantHi,
We performed every step mentioned above several times – no success. The same message appears every single time: “Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.”
I’m not sure what the issue is, but it is becoming extremely frustrating. Is there a person I can contact via phone or google hangouts? Thanks.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
You’re getting the following error, most probably you don’t have PHP cURL extension enabled on your server. Please contact your hosting provider.
array(6) { ["headers"]=> object(Requests_Utility_CaseInsensitiveDictionary)#223 (1) { ["data":protected]=> array(4) { ["date"]=> string(29) "Mon, 28 Nov 2016 16:22:39 GMT" ["server"]=> string(58) "Apache/2.4.16 (Unix) OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips mod_bwlimited/1.4" ["content-length"]=> string(3) "491" ["content-type"]=> string(29) "text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" }Also check the following.
– Ensure your site can reach this domain: community.theme.co – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled. – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates. – Check into the error message above.Hope that helps.
