WP 4.6
X 4.6.1 and Cornerstone 1.3.0 very latest – fresh download yesterdaySo – I had my site on a DigitalOcean droplet running X, without problems.
Unfortunately the WP installation went screwy (I think it might have been broken into) so I had to make a fresh droplet and re-do everything yesterday, this time using SSH.
So even though it’s exactly the same DO one-click WordPress as before, x won’t validate this time. It’s on a new IP and I’ve installed WP using a different email address.
Thanks in advance,
Owen Maddock

JoaoModeratorHello Owen,
Thanks for writing in! You should be able to update Cornerstone if you have X license validated.
Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again. If still doesn’t work, please update Cornerstone manually by uploading it to ftp. Please check our our knowledge base to know how: https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/
Hope this helps.

owenmaddockParticipantHi guys!
The URL quoted in step 3 above is spurious! One of you try it! First to domain quest.com then to I don’t know what, classic malware type site. Fortunately I recognised and killed it.
I still can’t validate X (Cornerstone is working fine and up to date so I don’t know what that end comment means).
Thanks,
Owen

RupokMemberHi Owen,
Sorry for the confusion. It should be your domain. So kindly replace this with your domain that you are trying to validate. Don’t go to the example link.
Thanks!

owenmaddockParticipantAh ok. 🙂
Still doesn’t work though.
Screenshots attached in case the error message helps.
Thanks,

Would you mind providing your login credentials in private reply? And please provide the purchase code where your domain is assigned.
Thanks!
