laurendevineParticipantHey there…again, issues with Cornerstone. With recent updates, I can no longer see or access the Gravity Forms on the pages that have them (mainly my Contact page).
http://www.devineportfolio.com/contact
I have already:
- Turned off all other plugins. No help.
- All plugins and theme are up to date.
- I have already installed and run the Artiss Transient Cleaner plugin.
- Theme Co license and API key are active and correct.
I’m not sure what to do or how to fix? Any ideas here?
Thanks, in advance for your help. Screen shot attached.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Here is a screenshot of your page on my end – http://prntscr.com/a9pcxu
I can see the form and content there. Let’s try clearing your browser’s cache and let us know.
Cheers!

laurendevineParticipantThe ISSUE is that I cannot see or access this on the BACK END of the website inside Cornerstone….that’s why I sent the screen shot. Sorry, I thought I made that clear.
So, the issues with cornerstone are ALL on the back end when I’m trying to edit the site from inside the WordPress Dashboard. So, what are next steps? I need to fix this asap because I have updates I need to make. This isn’t the only site I have where I’m using X THEME with Cornerstone and the Gravity Forms are sudden not appearing from within the page builder.
Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for clarifying. In that case we need to see the backend so you should have add the credentials in a private reply. To do this now, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

LelyModeratorHello There,
Thank you for the credentials.
Upon checking, I got the following error:

gf_global is not defined(…)-> this error from Gravity forms makes the element unable to load in Cornerstone.
I have forwarded this issue to our developer and we will let you know once we have an update. For the meantime, please use gravity form shortcode inside a RAW content element. Thank you for understanding.Always,

laurendevineParticipantOk…do you know when they might release a possible update on this? Its mucking things up for me because now I cannot use Cornerstone to add that sidebar Widget just to that page, etc.

ZeshanMemberHi Lauren,
We cannot provide any ETA on this as it seems to be conflict with the plugin itself.
Thanks!

laurendevineParticipantOk. Hopefully they’ll fix ASAP because Cornerstone used to INCORPORATE Gravity Forms…you could add it as an element when using the Cornerstone page builder. So, its not just some random plugin I’m using…I would think it was an “approved” plugin since Cornerstone incorporated it as an element.
Thanks

ZeshanMemberHi Lauren,
Yes, I’ve passed to our developers for further investigation but if it’s a issue related to Gravity Forms, we cannot do much here. However, you can still use it as a shortcode using either Raw Content or Text element.
Thank you!

AlexanderKeymasterHi there,
This is Alex, lead developer of Cornerstone. I just wanted to followup here with some new information. The issue you’re experiencing is because the Gravity Forms scripts and styles are not being enqueued in the page builder.
Because we’re working in a live environment, we’re not given the benefit of a full page load each time an element is rendered. Often plugins (including Gravity Forms) will output their scripts and styles in ways most performant to their application. Cornerstone does as much as it can to siphen these up to the live preview, but it can’t work in every case.
I’ve reached out to Gravity Forms about adding a filter to adjust how those assets are loaded. They’ve confirmed it will be part of their 2.0 release. Basically it just allows us to internally toggle a way of loading the scripts and styles that is a bit slower, but more compatible with Cornerstone. Once Gravity Forms 2.0 is released, we’ll revisit our element integration.
In the meantime, everything will still work on the frontend, but your live preview won’t properly display forms.

laurendevineParticipantHey Alex! Thanks so much for getting back to me on this. I’m glad this will be fixed sooner than later. I didn’t have problems viewing the Gravity Forms (GF) through Cornerstone (CS) until the recent CS update. But I’m glad its getting fixed sooner than later and hopefully they’ll release GF 2.0 soon.
Thanks!

Jonathan FParticipantI am having a similar problem, I am using the Gravity Forms element (I have tried using the RAW element also) and It is showing correctly on the backend admin section but it is not displaying correctly on the frontend. Here is where it should be displayed, http://www.jonathanivyphoto.com/contact/
