    Hi there,

I have received this message for a while now when I try access my site. I have been able to circumnavigate the problem by adding /admin to the url each time – but now that I have some time I’d like to get to the bottom of the issue!

    The error:

‘Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/luke270584/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/renew/template-blank-2.php:17) in /home/luke270584/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1174’

(Although the error was on different lines previously) I read up on a few forums and have identified the jonradio private site plugin to be the problem. I would still like to use this plugin if possible because it is essential that access can only be gained to the website if they are logged in.

I followed some instructions regarding editing the .php files (checking for white space etc) to no avail. (I made copies and reloaded the originals when I found they did not work)

I’m sure the problem is probably easily fixed by my code editing skills are more or less non – existent!

I will post my website details in a private message below!

    Thanks for you help! 🙂

    Hi there,

Please connect to FTP and change define('WP_DEBUG', true); to define('WP_DEBUG', false); in wp-config.php file.
Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi There,

    Please try opening this file:
    /wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/renew/template-blank-2.php.
Try to remove this space between the following lines of code:

    ?>

    <?php x_get_view( x_get_stack(), 'template', 'blank-2' ); ?>

Then check again. If it works, copy that file on the same folder on your child theme so it will be same from update. Other option is Private Only plugin.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

    Thank you for your understanding.
