Prasant RaiModeratorHello Zdeno,
Thanks for writing in!
Can you confirm the following on your server configuration?
– Ensure your firewall is not blocking: http://themeco-demo-content.s3.amazonaws.com/x/ – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled. – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.Thanks.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
We’ve been relocating our demos internally on the server and that created a bug for a while not letting users to install demo content on their sites. Could you please try importing demo content now.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!June 24, 2016 at 2:05 pm #1058403

FriechModeratorHi There,
Yes, we mean by that demo. Please try it again and add this
&x-clean-demo-content-cacheto the URL to clear the import cache.Regarding visual composer frontend, we can’t recommend the use of the front end editor, which is why it’s disabled by default. If you use the front end editor, you should use the Visual Composer native shortcodes. Due to complexities in how the front end editor works, it’s difficult to get all our shortcodes to work seamlessly with it, without rewriting a good deal of them. As mentioned in our Visual Composer Knowledge Base article, this is not something we’re able to provide support for. We would suggest using the backend editor if you want to use X Shortcodes.
Thanks.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please disable all third party plugins and don’t come with X, update plugins that belong to X. Then clear cache and check again.
Hope it helps.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! This certainly sounds like you have some kind of permissions issue going on in, at the very least, your wp-content subfolder and its subfolders. Have a look at this link which might be helpful:

FriechModeratorHi Zdenek,
Please revoke and revalidate your site by following the steps below.
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.

2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert your purchased code. And another thing, your admin dashboard requires an authentication so we can’t login to your site. Try disabling that and setup the demo again.
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!
