lindsayfaasParticipantI’ve been attempting to install/use the expanded theme Spa. It says intializing, then goes to “working on it”, then stalls there forever. This is better than what I originally had which was just the failed message. I’ve tried the two tricks on the how to page for installing expanded templates. The change to the .php file seems to have worked, but when I change .htaccess I end up getting a 500 error message and my wordpress site no longer works. I’ve deactivated all the plugins except for Slider Revolution and cornerstone .
Please help, I’m stuck here now…Thanks

You can try adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site.
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' ); define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );You can add it before the line
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

There is error 500 (Internal Server Error) in your site, please check with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.Let us know how it goes.
