Hi There,
I have X ver 4.3.4 and unfortunately I can’t manage an FTP on the hosting.. so I can’t manually upgrade to 4.4.0

I have Un-assigned a site and I’m not be able to generate a new api key (http://www.ortodonzia.unina2.it)

Please help.

Hey there,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– your themeco login credentils

Hi Gennaro,

Since you cannot use their FTP normally you can perform your manual Update Via your FTP Plugin.

Please follow this steps:

1-Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

2- Backup your website.

3- Go to the folder WP-Content / Themes / via ftp plugin and Rename your X Theme Folder to X-Old

4- Upload the new version.

5- Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.

Than you can follow these steps to register your theme:

1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license (if you have already assign it) https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address.

The main site and the development site should be different urls. If you do no have any development site, there is no need to assign it.

4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

It works!
I had some troble with my ftp plugin but.. finally i was able to install the new x realease and the automatic update worked fine.
