In my local environment, I’ve updated to the latest version of X. In previous versions, I would navigate to the framework/plugins/ folder and manually update VC & Cornerstone there. I only see cornerstone.zip.

Reading through the changelog, it looks like Visual Composer might be built into X. Is that correct? If I disable my standalone Visual Composer plugin (4.9.2), I see all the shortcode on the site. Will VC still remain as a standalone plugin?

Also, in previous versions, I could see the free add-ons. Now, however, it seems like I must validate the X Theme in order to view these. Is it going to be possible for me to update VC or am I stuck with the version that came packaged with X 4.3.4?

    Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Yes, we do remove the VC installer from the X|Theme folder (/framework/plugins/). However, you can always re-install the VC from the Addons panel. Or you can download the X package from your ThemeForest account download page, that package contains all the bundled plugins installer (zip files).

    Hope this shed some lights.

    Cheers!

I apologize. I had downloaded the entire package but accidentally unarchived the single X download from your site. I re-downloaded all files from ThemeForest and found the js_composer file there. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
