tamararobbParticipantWe are having an issue with editing the slugs for three pages.
http://2fc.a84.myftpupload.com/passion-2/
http://2fc.a84.myftpupload.com/potential-2/
http://2fc.a84.myftpupload.com/purpose-2/Usually when there are “2’s” at the end that means that there are duplicate pages in the trash. This is not the case. Do you have any ideas on how we can edit these pages to remove the 2?

tamararobbParticipantFor some reason it is creating pages for every single piece of media that we upload. Can you tell me why this is creating a page?
Here is an example:

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. Every media images are actually have their own URL and it’s treated as attachment. So the URL/slug will be blocked by the attachment. So when you upload image, let’s not use same name for the image as the desired page slug.
For example, if you upload an image with the name passion.png/passion.jpg then the /passion slug will be blocked by this attachment. Use different naming for the images. It’s a core feature of WordPress that we can’t control.
Hope this makes sense.

tamararobbParticipantWill this have any effect on the XML Sitemaps?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
It is good to keep your Sitemaps updated anyway, since you are creating new content, in order to be SEO friendly just use another name for the images but that still be useful for you like passion-img.
Hope that helps,
Joao
