1) I purchased the theme yesterday via ThemeForest. I tried validating the plug-ins, but I either get a notification saying my purchase code is invalid, or, once I create a personal API key, that there are no valid purchases linked to that profile!

This is very frustrating! My envato username is fbalino.

2) the “edit with Cornerstone” button doesn’t show up in any live page. I have to go to the back-end to launch cornerstone. Every time. Also very frustrating.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! #1 The purchased code is only for validating the THEME. Since the plugins are bundled with the X|Theme, you don’t need to register. The plugin functions 100% without license registration. (unless you deactivate X and use other themes with those bundled plugins)

Rather than updating directly via the Plugin developers automatic updater, that update is included in a X update.

We always try and upgrade as soon as possible when a new plugin release is made to ensure our customers are using the latest version. This isn’t always possible for example if we submit a update to Envato and our update is in review while a new plugin version comes out, that version would have to wait for our next update.

If a plugin includes any major fixes, for example a security issue, or a plugin breaking bug that prevents all functionality we update right away.

If a plugin update just includes minor bug fixes or improvements, then generally we wait to bundle that version until our planned update is ready to come out.

#2 Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
