    Hi guys, I cannot update X from 4.3.4 to 4.4.2 – I get the following error message: ‘Update package not available’ – please can you help.
    x validate, running latest WordPress (updated today – could that be a problem?) on Mac, Firefox.
    Some of the plugins show errors, e.g.

    Revolution Slider: ‘An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.’

    Cornerstone: ‘Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.’

    what do I need to do?

    Hi again, i noticed that cornerstone is not working properly anymore, for example I cannot detele any elements – which is serious of course since I cannot delete any content or row or section and therefore cannot continue developing! A speedy reply or solution would be very much appreciated – Thanks in advance !

    Cornerstone update is available but it says it has not been tested with WordPress 4.5 – Please advise what to do. I am a complete novice to all this but I worked now for ages on this site and am PANICKING that it’s all falling apart now!
    Unfortunately I cannot give you URL since I am working locally…
    Please help

    Hi Simone,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi, I tried again, restarting the computer, web-browser, re-installed wordpress 4.5 etc. still no change:

    1. Can’t update x to 4.4.2
    2. Can’t update Cornerstone to 1.2.4 (update package not available). When clicking on ‘view details’ on the update page it doesn’t give a warning, and the green button on the bottom right (the one to click for ‘install’) says ‘Newer Version (1.1.3) Installed’ – what does this mean?

    3. Cornerstone doesn’t work properly anymore which means I cannot edit my site: cannot delete any page elements.
    4. Can’t update Revolution Slider (update package not available) – in ‘view details’ it says ‘An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration
    5. Can’t update WPBakery (update package not available) – in ‘view details’ it gives the same message as with Revolution Slider update details.

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately, there is no other way to investigate it but to check it directly. And local setup may have the different setting than the actual hosting.

    Is there a way we can access it publicly?

    Hi, maybe you could tell me how? I have no idea. It’s far from finished and it will have to replace a live site, and since I am a novice and knew it would take me some time I set it up locally.
    Could you advise what would need to be done for you to access it?

    I have this same issue. This seems to be related to the recent change on how X is validated. Since the API key is no longer needed, you cannot update X 4.3.4 to 4.4+.

    Is there a way to update X 4.3.4 to the latest version using the automatic upgrade system?

    Hi There,

    Please try revalidating your setup. Revoke the purchase code again and assign it again to your domain then validate your setup. If still not working, would you mind sharing us your admin credentials and purchase code in a new thread.

    Don’t forget to set the credentials private reply.

    Hi, I am now trying the same – to revoke purchase code and assign again. but for some reason I don’t seem to be able to do this. I read (many times now) through your ‘prodcuct validation’ page, but there is nothing on API keys on there.

    When I look at Addons: Home it says: X is now installed (woo-hoo). Follow the steps below to validate your product, which unlocks automatic updates, additional Extensions, and more. – followed by steps 1 to 3.
    1: I am registered.
    2: create API key – if I click on the link it shows my profile, on which I cannot find anything about API keys. What am I to do? It shows the Envato Code, and the assigned site (8888 (Prodution) – I am working locally) – what do I need to do?

    Hi,

    Since you are in local host, you can try updating manually.

    1. Download x from your Dashboard page
    2. Extract x.zip in your computer
    3. Copy x folder and paste it in wp-content/themes/ – overwriting existing files.

    After that, you can try validating again using your purchase code.

    Don’t forget to create a full back up of your site before attempting to update
