I have a version of X that is registered and validated on the primary site.
WIthin the themeco account dashboard I have associated a development site to the licence.

I use development site, among other reasons, to test plugin updates on sites before I update the plugins in production.

From my registered development site, if I attempt to update plugins, I cannot update plugins that are bundled with X. For each update failure I see the message “Update package not available.”

    Is this expected behaviour?

    Hi Sunil,

Can you please revalidate your website by revoking the licence from your WordPress dashboard and your themeco dashboard and adding them again?

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks

    Hi Lely.

From my WordPress dashboard, how do I revoke the licence?

I’ve been hunting around but I can’t find a UI for license managment from within the admin of the site itself.

    Additional Information
    ======================

I did a little troubleshooting and I’ve noticed something interesting.
I administer another site that also uses X. Site2 is fully updated. It has the latest version of X and WordPress.

On Site2: If I’m at the dashboard and I hover over ‘X Addons’ then additional menu items appear. One of the items is ‘home’. If I follow that link I go to a screen that shows a UI for validating the license. My user on this site has the Administrator role.

On the problem site I also have the Administrator role. But I can’t access the same screen:

If I hover over ‘X Addons’, the additional menu items do not appear.
Another way I tried to access that screen: From Site2, I copied the URL for the admin screen.
In my browser I pasted the url. Then I replaced the domain name with the domain name for the problem site.
The browser takes me to a wordpress screen that shows me a message saying that I don’t have the right privileges to access the resource.

So I created another admin user with wpcli
This new admin user also doesn’t have the requisite privileges to access the screen.

Looks like locked out from validating.
