cwacholderParticipantHello,
I’ve just updated my site to the latest X version, and suddenly all my formatting is gone.
What is weird is that I cannot even access WordPress dashboard, and even the login page has lost its styling.
I’m getting the following error on Safari, through the development inspector:<body class=”error404 x-ethos x-navbar-fixed-top-active x-full-width-layout-active x-full-width-active x-post-meta-disabled x-portfolio-meta-disabled x-v4_5_0 x-child-theme-active cornerstone-v1_2_4″> = $0
I was trying to change the front page assignment right before this happened, but it seems the whole site got corrupted?
Any pointers on what to do to at least get my dashboard back are very welcome!

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Your error denotes that you have an issue with jkl-unit-converter plugin. You may rename the plugin by connecting to your FTP OR download the original plugin separately and upload the missing files mentioned above.
Hope that helps.

cwacholderParticipantI’m not being able to even access the wordpress dashboard, so I’m completely lost
I don’t have previous experience with wordpress, so forgive my lack of knowledge.
Should I try to reinstall worpress on my server?June 1, 2016 at 5:46 pm #1020943
cwacholderParticipantrenamed the plugin folder and created a new one just in case there was more than one culprit

FriechModeratorHi There,
Would you mind deleting the X|Theme via FTP on this directory: /desarrollo/wp-content/themes/ and then reinstall it.

cwacholderParticipantThanks for the help. I will try that.
I suspect everything went wrong after I tried to assign Front Page status to a different page.
Maybe the css route broke in the process?
I’ll let you know what the host says.June 2, 2016 at 9:33 am #1022248
cwacholderParticipantBefore I delete anything, what should I do with the x child I’m using? Delete it too?
I’ve already backed up the site. Too bad I didn’t do it before the troubles started!!June 2, 2016 at 9:47 am #1022275
cwacholderParticipantNo cigar, regretfully.
Seems this is a WordPress problem. Will reach my host and hope for the bestJune 2, 2016 at 11:03 am #1022453
JadeModeratorNo worries, let us know how it goes.

cwacholderParticipantIn the end it was the wp-config file that got a bit garbled.
Probably my bad when trying to assign homepage status to a different page (as I get redirected to the news page every time, but stuff for a different topic post)
Everything seems to be back to normal now, and I’ve learned to back up not only the site but the databases also (which I had not taken into account previously)
Thanks for being there!June 2, 2016 at 10:58 pm #1023577
FriechModeratorGlad you sorted things out, should you require any further assistance with X|THEME and Cornerstone, please feel free to get in touch with us.
Cheers!
