    Hello,

I have taken over the maintenance of a site from other developers, and updating the theme version from 2.6.0 to the current version has screwed up the front-end. It’s also failing to restore from the latest backup, so I can’t quickly switch back to where we were before.

I know you have a policy to not provide older versions of the theme, but is there any chance you could please send me a copy of version 2.6.0 just to get us out of this bind?

    It would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Shaun

    Hello Shaun,

Thanks for writnig in! Unfortunately, we won’t we able to provide you with the older version of the theme since we do encourage our users to have the latest version. Would you mind providing us with more information about the issues you are having so that we could assist you further.

    Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve managed to get back to the previous version of the theme by extracting the directory from the backup file and uploading it manually.

There is an active child theme, but updating the parent X theme messed up the styling and layout, so perhaps the developers manually edited a file or some files in the parent theme. At the moment there’s no dev site to use as a testbed, so the only way to find out about issues like this is via the live site.

Oh well, I’ll try to find the solution.

    Thanks again for the reply,
    Shaun
