mgmaParticipantHi guys-
My client built this site with X…
willowbendcapecod.com
They want to make some changes and have some issues that have accumuluated over the last couple of years. SO I bought a version of X, wondering how an export and import of content might go. It did not go well at all.
Can you recommend or advise if there is a better way of doing this? I can try updating their theme from the old site, but I assume I’ll get similar results (copy all over the place, not background images showing, etc.)
I’d like to continue to use X here… can you recomend a better way of migrating… so most of the content and styles of the old site is retained>?
Thanks!

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Thanks for writing in. Please see the changelog first starting from X 2.3.0 up http://theme.co/changelog/#theme-2-3-0. Then, uninstall X Shortcodes plugin and see https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/ to learn how to update X manually. After that, validate X. See https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/ for product validation instruction. See https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/ to learn how to migrate X Shortcodes built page to Cornerstone.
Thanks.
