tomaspernekParticipantHey there!
I am unable to create new grids within my Grid-plugin. I use WPML-translation plugin.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Best!

RupokMemberHi Tomas,
To check that, we need to test from your backend. Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

RadModeratorHi there,
It’s saving, it’s giving me the error that the EG already exist when I create another with the same name that I previously registered. The issue is, it’s not listing all the grid.
Would it be okay to duplicate/clone your site into staging? I really don’t want to touch your live site. I may need to deactivate and delete some plugin for testing.
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
Can’t find what’s causing this, do your site has object and database cache? How about cloning your site into separate sub-folder? Let’s see if it’s just related to server side caching.
I also enabled the debug loggings ( https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG ) and it’s not taking effect either. It should at least display warning and notices even if there are no errors.
Maybe if we can check this on different hosting or subfolder, we may able to trace the issue.
Thanks!

ChristianModeratorHey Tomas,
Please copy your site over to a staging server so we could further investigate.
Thanks.

tomaspernekParticipantI tried to remove the grid and install it again but I can not seem to get it right. I do not know how to create a staging server but if it helps it is ok to remove the Grid plugin and install it again using the login info and ftp I gave you.
best

tomaspernekParticipantcan this have something to do with it? Without knowing it feels like the problem is with the combination of WPML and the Grid.

ChristianModeratorIf you can disable WPML, please try it and test if the issue persists.
Thanks.

tomaspernekParticipantOk, then it seems to work just fine.

LelyModeratorHi There,
So then, the issue seems to be a conflict between the two plugins. I can see that you have created this thread:https://wpml.org/forums/topic/i-am-not-able-to-create-new-grids-in-the-grid-plugin-with-wpml-installed/ on WPML. Do let us know what they can find.

tomaspernekParticipantHello again! I have been in contact with WPML-support and with their help I have been able to see that with Cornerstone deactivated it all works fine. But once Cornerstone is active the problem is there again. I do not know which one of you (X or WPML) that will be most keen to see a fix to this. Let me know what to do, worst case scenario I will switch to Essential Grid like before.
Best!
