Jose De EusebioParticipantI would need to re- install a Child theme although there is already one installed. By the way, the version of the one already installed is a 1.x one while I´ve been updating the wp and Theme and plug ins all the way through… Including the latest Parent Theme X update installed today.
I´ve downloaded the Child Theme from your site, and, when tried to install it, a message shows that there is a failure in the process. It says that the File already exists…: /home/……/x-child
How can I install it so that it “erases” the previous Child theme?
How could I keep it to be updated?
Thanks!!!October 18, 2016 at 6:31 am #1220677
RahulModeratorHey there,
You can simply delete the theme by logging into your FTP and then install a new one. This way, it’ll be a clean install 🙂
Let me know how it goes, thanks!

Jose De EusebioParticipantHi!
Done it. But still it is not installing the latest version of your Child Theme. I send you enclosed a screen shot of what has been installed. I did, thought, download your latest Child Theme version (3.X), but…
what is wrong?October 19, 2016 at 1:27 am #1221885
FriechModeratorHi There,
Sorry but there seems to be a confusion, x-child version is always 1.0.0 even the latest one.
You will know you have the latest x-child theme when you see this line on your child theme’s functions.php file.
add_filter( 'x_enqueue_parent_stylesheet', '__return_true' );Hope this shed some lights.
Cheers!

Jose De EusebioParticipantdefinitly there is something wrong in my site… I can´t see the expanded demo pages properly in the Cornerstone editing area. I get something like this in the Agency Demo site (see attached image) but the funny thing is that it looks like it is possible for me to edit it, although the look is still the same until I go to a preview of the page, but not the one right on the Cornerstone editing preview…
